Thermal insulators by conduction constantly absorb heat and, when the external temperature falls down, they emit the stored heat to the exterior. Thermal insulators by reflection, like all nasacoat coatings, do not absorb any heat, they reflect it. |
This way, no heat can enter into the protected materials, therefore no heat can be emitted to the exterior. Likewise, these thermal barrier coatings by reflectance, for being vapor barriers, inhibit the passage of accumulated heat, to the outside, in cold areas. |
